Trolley Cam Software
The idea of Trolley Vision® SI is to offer the Meat Industry a simple and compact unit that will read trolleys and send the Trolley IDs to a host computer. The main function of the Trolley Vision® SI Station is to detect and read the unique hole pattern drilled into the strap of a trolley. This allows the plant to track the carcasses along their trek through the processing plant. The system consists of a camera tube, a back-light, and a blower.

The camera is aimed at the path of the trolleys. The Trolley Vision® SI is always checking the camera to see if there is a trolley to read. The back-light shines light through the holes of the trolley to make them stand out from the trolley strap. The blower blows away water, grease, or any other foreign material that is on the trolley that may block the holes, thereby rendering it unreadable.
